The 1,000+ acre facility started bulk early works in July 2015 as the first greenfield export facility in the United States. Bechtel has successfully and safely completed construction and it now consists of three operating Trains with an LNG production capacity of approximately 15 million tons per year (MTPA), three LNG storage tanks with combined capacity of 480,000 cubic meters of LNG, 2 Jetty superstructures
that can accommodate the world’s largest vessels, and dozens of associated buildings and utilities.
Corpus Christi Liquefaction Project Stage 3 (CCL3) is a new phase at the existing CCL facility and will consist of seven midscale liquefaction trains with an LNG production capacity of approximately 10 MTPA and associated infrastructure including utilities. CCL3 will perform all this work predominantly on a direct hire basis with support from only a few specialty and service subcontractors. Position Summary The Lead Instrumentation Field Engineer will report to the Project Field Engineer and is responsible for supervising the Instrumentation Field Engineering Team.
In addition to their supervision duties, this individual is responsible for providing technical assistance, direction, and support to Bechtel and subcontractor field supervision teams for construction and installation activities for all disciplines associated with the instrumentation equipment and materials. Job Functions / Responsibilities Perform risk and threat backssments of current and future-model vehicle systems. Participate in the prioritization of incident responses and treatment plan definitions. Lead updates to software and hardware development process standards to incorporate current best practices in secure development techniques and tools.
Consult with EE system architects to achieve continuous improvement in vehicle security with each future update. Disseminate awareness of risks, opportunities, and best practices to key personnel across company locations. Collaborate with corporate purchasing and supplier quality to establish standard contract terms and backssments that enhance cyber-security in the supply chain. Coordinate with IT Security to align goals and strategy. Maintain ISAC (industry-wide information sharing and analysis center) communications to support risk and threat knowledge sharing.

Qualifications & Skills B. S. in Cybersecurity, Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant degree required. Experience in a combination of real-time software, vehicle electronics and controls, embedded systems or similar areas, and information security, penetration testing, threat modeling/analysis, or related fields.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, lean, collaborative team environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good planning/tracking skills. Able to learn and use new processes and techniques and resourcefully solve complex technical issues. Determined commitment to reliability, value, quality, and safety in all aspects of work. What you will do Advise operating sites in the management of process safety risks and hazards associated with the processes, equipment and day to day operations Provide expert technical support to help drive site improvements, including: Review of key safety systems and recommending corrective actions, Support effective identification, backssment, and prioritization of risks and the tracking and completion of risk reduction activities in a timely manner, and Provide technical support (and leadership if called upon) in incident investigations Lead formal risk backssments / Process Hazard Analyses to identify and quantify risk associated with the operation of the facility Conduct process safety reviews, process safety-related studies / analyses, and support the development of related control measures for projects Provide advice and recommendations on the applicability and interpretation of both internal and external safety guidelines and standards Support operating site’s Risk Management Plans and provide technical support to safety and regulatory audits May be responsible for backfilling Process Safety Team Supervisor About you Skills and Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent Minimum 10 years of petrochemical/refining experience in one or more of the following areas: Safety, Operations, and / or Engineering Design Working experience with hazard identification, risk analyses and backssment methodologies (e.

DNV PHAST). Controls and Protective System Design concepts and impact in risk backssments. Design and review of fire protection systems and expertise for firefighting strategies/tactics.
