day-to-day operational support for the physical RDT&E/SRDT&E network environment. Support includes, at a minimum: hardware/software installation, firmware upgrades, Security Technical Information Guide (STIG) compliance, and enhancements to network routers and switches.

This support will encompass integration, analysis, testing, troubleshooting of network devices and services, asset management and use of enterprise network management tools to monitor and analyze network performance at the physical and Internet Protocol (IP) packet level. -Install and maintain copper twisted pair and fiber optic cables and provide documented certification to required specifications for network operations.

This shall include new site-specific installations, modifications and enhancements to new and existing installations, distribution technology, microwave applications, standard telephone, and modem technology.

The contractor shall possess familiarity with frameworks, protocols, and interfaces to include Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), Open Systems Interconnection (OSI), Ethernet, leased lines, bridges, and routers. -Install and maintain the RDT&E / wireless network infrastructure, enabling both in-building and outside coverage. -Possess and maintain familiarity with enterprise wireless specifications. -Install, and maintain configurations of, but not limited to:

Aruba, Extreme, Ruckus, Palo Alto, and F5 hardware infrastructure for routing and distribution, as well as Firewall and Boundary routing.
