The selected candidate will work with the BR&T Payload Products & Technologies (PP&T) product team focused on the concept, requirements, architecture, design and development of an advanced space-based imaging sensor payloads. The position will involve creating software products for space-based image processing. The selected candidate will work with the PP&T product team on providing complete solutions,

including systems engineering, optics design, algorithms, software development, firmware development, and electronics. The candidate will work with software product-line owner, program managers, and development leads to create common software products and tailor for use on a portfolio of customer-funded programs.

The successful candidate will work across programs to ensure software products are developed for commonality and tailored to meet mission need. The candidate will work with algorithm and development leads for space-based image processing software, firmware to ensure engineering excellence and achieve program objectives. Position Responsibilities: Expert in image processing software,

firmware, and FPGA implementation Serves as business portfolio and customer focal on space-based image processing software, firmware products Expert in MATLAB auto code optimization for performance and size Drive image processing software products and strategic reuse across all programs Drive image processing software execution to deliver products on-cost and on-schedule to programs Responsible for image processing software safety, assurance, quality, and engineering excellence Expert with all phases of product and software development lifecycle This position is hybrid.
